Effective Mediation Practice The Effective Mediation Practice course is geared to mediation in court and administrative contexts. There is an assumption of a legal context and these mediations may include the participation of lawyers and other advisors. Mediation is increasingly encouraged, if not required, by courts and agencies. This course reviews how a mediator gets started and established in this system. We review essential concepts, principles, structures and skills needed to capably assist participants to reach agreement.
